A collision of two musicians and lifelong comrades Dearborn Adams and James Norman aka DV9. Both hailing from respective national acts, hard rock (Something to Burn) and Industrial bad boys (Deadstar Assembly) the idea of working together to create an epic cinematic sound that would combine their love for distorted guitars and drums mashed up with orchestration and sound design actually came to fruition organically. Swapping sessions between the east and west coast, the new duo forged a sound they could only describe as Damned Anthem. Trailer sized tracks composed to pack a punch for picture while being menacing, melodic and anthemic with hooks that would sink deep and not let go. Influenced by everything 80's Metal and the 90's Industrial scene to the massive scores of John Williams and Hans Zimmer, Damned Anthem are creating a sound that is raw and visceral and from an honest place deep within these two artists souls. |
