NYC-based tropical grit pop duo Ghost Beach, are you familiar with them? Only a few months old, they're nailing a retro-future aesthetic that sounds like the The Police, Depeche Mode, and Daft Punk, with a little Passion Pit sprinkled on top for good measure.
