INTERN

Job Description: General support. Specific duties include uploading music submissions from record labels and other content providers, researching and formatting artist assets, email and phone follow-ups, web promotion and other support duties as needed. 

Necessary skills/qualities:

  • High school graduate (college degree preferred)
  • Interest in (and knowledge of) contemporary music and trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Responsible
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Outgoing and ready to learn

Applicants must be at least moderately proficient in the following operating systems and applications:

  • Mac OS X (you'll have your own 20" iMac)
  • Photoshop
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Fetch (or similar FTP application)
  • Word
  • Outlook or Entourage
  • iTunes
  • iChat (or similar instant messenger application)

This is an unpaid, part-time (no more than 2 days a week) position lasting 3-6 months, or possibly longer. It's based in our Pasadena office.
